104名のアーティストが、「春の温泉」をテーマに描いた新作のハガキサイズ抽象画作品353点を発表する「春の温泉×抽象画100人展」。
3月5日から27日の1か月間の開催される本展は、店頭、オンライン両方にてご鑑賞、ご購入いただけます。
353通りの、春の温泉×抽象画の世界をご堪能いただけましたら幸いです。

◆企画者の言葉
初めて温泉に入った時のことを、覚えていますか？
全身を暖かな湯に浸らせた時、皆様の心に浮かんだ感覚は、
気持ちは、いったいどのようなものだったでしょうか。
おぼろげな記憶ですが、遠い昔、その時、
あまりに突然の感覚に驚いてすぐ出ようとした私に、
家族の誰かが「いっしょに30数えよう」と、
お湯の中で手を繋いで、
一緒に声に出してゆっくり30数えた思い出があります。
幼すぎて分からなかったですが、
その時 心に芽生えた感覚は
「幸せ」そのものだったような気がします。

病は気から、という言葉が感覚的に「正」であると
何となく分かる人は多いのではないでしょうか。
20代の頃、友達と温泉に行く途中、ちょっとした口論になり
気まずい雰囲気のまま温泉につかったことがあります。
ですが、5分も経たないうちに「さっきはごめんね」と、
お互い気持ちが丸くなりあっさりと許しあえたのは
忘れられない体験です。
冷えは万病のもと、とも言います。
私たちの気持ちをつかさどる脳だって体の一部ですから、
病の元を絶てる環境に身を置くことで
心も穏やかになるという事実は、全く不思議ではありません。

最後に温泉に入った時のことを、覚えていますか？
その時は、恐らく、現在の「温泉に行きたくても行けない」
社会状況になるとは、夢にも思っていなかったのでは無いでしょうか。
体を思いっきり動かす機会すら中々無かったり、
芋づる式に、心も何だか弾力性を失ってしまったような。
そんな中、温泉が「体」を通じて私たちの「心」を元気にしたように
その逆も実現することはできるのではないか、そう考えました。

アーティストが、
温泉に入った時の「幸せ」な気分を抽象画で表現したら、
それはいったいどんな作品になるのだろう。
それらを一堂に展示することで、
その空間に足を踏み入れた「わたし」の
「心」と「体」はどうなるのだろう。
感覚的な話ですが、きっとそれは、
心の奥底で待ちわびていた「幸福感」を
追体験する、暖かなものではないかと、
そう思いました。

病は気からと言うならば、
健康も気から、と言えるはずです。
出口の見えない今だからこそ
あの時の暖かな気持ちをアートを通じて、
皆様のお家にお届けしたい。
同時に、全く想像もしていなかった
アーティストならではの感性で再構築された
「温泉」の本質を観てみたい。
そのような考えから、
今回の企画展を開催することにいたしました。
本展は店頭、オンラインでの同時開催となります。
会場にお越しいただける方、お家で楽しまれたい方、
それぞれの皆様に寄り添った展示会運営をして参りたいと思います。
