ピカレスク台湾展2026 東京巡回展
企画概要
2026年9月25日〜28日、台湾・宜蘭市の68 Contemporary Art Spaceにて開催した「Picaresque in Taiwan 2026」。
DTAとNew Active Marketが主催する「Art Night Market」の関連企画として、日本のアーティストによる作品を台湾の皆さまにご紹介しました。
このたび、台湾展に出展したアーティストの作品を日本の皆さまにもご紹介する機会として、ピカレスクギャラリーにて東京巡回展を開催いたします。
台湾での展示を経て、東京でもアーティストたちの作品をご紹介できることを、私たちもとても楽しみにしています。
また、台湾展に参加したアーティスト・陳奎延も出展します。日本と台湾、それぞれのアートをぜひお楽しみください。
最後に、台湾展の開催にあたり、貴重な機会を実現してくださったDTA、New Active Market、68 Contemporary Art Spaceの皆さまに、改めて心より感謝申し上げます。

奥村朝美
パート・ド・ヴェール技法を用いてガラス作品を制作しています。
技法特有の、柔らかな温もりのある質感と水彩のような色合いに惹かれ、この技法を選びました。
水中で空へと浮かび上がる泡のように、目にした方の気持ちが浮き上がるような作品を目標に制作を続けています。

福岡生まれの造形作家。
2013年に絵本アカデミー警固塾に所属し絵本の創作活動を開始。
翌年に文芸社えほん大賞優秀賞を受賞する。
2017年より独学でクレイアートを始め、絵本の世界を感じられる様な立体作品を表現。
主に「ノスタルジックな癒し」をテーマとして創作活動を行い、
個展やイベント、オンラインショップにて作品を発表している。

Chen Kuei Yen (陳奎延）
ご高覧いただき、誠にありがとうございます。台湾から参りましたアーティストの陳奎延（チェン・クイエン）です。
今回の個展では、皆様を心の奥深くに眠る感情と記憶の旅へとご案内する、2つの創作展開をご紹介いたします。
まずは、長年にわたり描き続けている「森林シリーズ」より、《神話》をテーマとした絵画作品です。日常の中で人々の生き様が歌となり、やがて浪漫あふれる神話や民話へと姿を変えていく。現実から生まれながらも現実を超越したそれらの物語は、現世の束縛から解き放たれ、心の自由を求める人々の強い願いを繊細に描き出しています。
もう一つは、2026年に新たに発表する立体（彫刻）作品シリーズです。この作品群を通して、私は自身の幼少期から思春期にかけての記憶と静かに向き合い、それを追体験しようと試みました。大空へと羽ばたくことへの憧れ、そして野性的で自由奔放な魂。それはまるで、現実と幻想が織りなす美しい夢のようです。
絵画と彫刻が交錯するこの世界の中で、皆様の心に触れるようなささやかな共鳴を見つけていただけましたら幸いです。

Picaresque 台灣展 2026 東京巡迴展
展覽企劃概要
2026年9月25日至28日，「Picaresque in Taiwan 2026」於台灣宜蘭市的 68 Contemporary Art Space 舉行。
本次展覽作為由 DTA 與 New Active Market 主辦的「Art Night Market」相關企劃，向台灣的朋友們介紹了日本藝術家的作品。
這次，我們將於 Picaresque Gallery 舉辦東京巡迴展，讓日本的朋友們也有機會欣賞曾參與台灣展覽的藝術家作品。
經過台灣的展出後，能夠再次於東京向大家介紹藝術家們的作品，我們也感到非常期待。
此外，參與台灣展覽的藝術家陳奎延也將一同展出。誠摯邀請大家欣賞來自日本與台灣的藝術作品。
最後，對於促成本次台灣展覽、提供寶貴機會的 DTA、New Active Market 以及 68 Contemporary Art Space 的各位，我們再次致上由衷的感謝。

奥村朝美
我使用脫蠟鑄造玻璃技法（Pâte de Verre）創作玻璃作品。
因為深受這項技法特有的柔和、溫潤質感，以及如水彩般的色彩所吸引，因此選擇了這種技法。
我持續創作，希望自己的作品能像水中朝天空緩緩升起的氣泡一樣，讓觀賞者的心情也隨之輕盈地浮起。

1981年出生於佐賀縣。
目前移居福岡縣糸島市，並以此為據點持續從事藝術創作。
主要製作動物雕塑、創作家具及餐具。

Chen Kuei Yen (陳奎延）
非常感謝各位蒞臨欣賞我的作品。我是來自台灣的藝術家陳奎延。
在這次的個展中，我將透過兩個不同的創作方向，帶領大家踏上一段探索沉睡於內心深處的情感與記憶之旅。
首先，是我多年來持續創作的「森林系列」中，以《神話》為主題的繪畫作品。日常生活中，人們的生命故事化為歌謠，最終演變成充滿浪漫色彩的神話與民間傳說。這些誕生於現實、卻又超越現實的故事，細膩地描繪出人們渴望擺脫現世束縛、追求心靈自由的強烈願望。
另一個創作方向，則是我於2026年全新發表的立體雕塑系列。透過這組作品，我嘗試靜靜地面對並重新體驗自己從童年到青春期的記憶。對於展翅飛向廣闊天空的嚮往，以及野性而自由奔放的靈魂。那彷彿是一場由現實與幻想交織而成的美麗夢境。
在繪畫與雕塑交錯構成的世界中，如果各位能找到一絲觸動內心的共鳴，我將感到非常欣慰。

Picaresque in Taiwan 2026 – Tokyo Exhibition
Exhibition Overview
From September 25 to 28, 2026, “Picaresque in Taiwan 2026” was held at 68 Contemporary Art Space in Yilan City, Taiwan.
As part of the “Art Night Market” organized by DTA and New Active Market, we introduced works by Japanese artists to audiences in Taiwan.
We are now pleased to present a Tokyo exhibition at Picaresque Gallery, offering audiences in Japan an opportunity to discover works by the artists who participated in the exhibition in Taiwan.
Having exhibited their works in Taiwan, we are very excited to introduce these artists and their creations once again in Tokyo.
Taiwanese artist Chen Kuei Yen, who also participated in the Taiwan exhibition, will be joining us. We warmly invite you to enjoy art from both Japan and Taiwan.
Finally, we would like to once again express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone at DTA, New Active Market, and 68 Contemporary Art Space for making this valuable opportunity possible.

An illustrator based in Tokyo.
She creates works with a warm atmosphere using both digital and traditional media.

Asami Okumura
I create glass artworks using the pâte de verre technique.
I chose this technique because I was drawn to its distinctive soft, warm texture and watercolor-like colors.
I continue to create works with the hope that they will lift the spirits of those who see them, like bubbles rising toward the sky from beneath the water.

Urachi Kishimoto
Born in Okinawa in 1987.
In 2011, began creating masks and decorative objects using traditional Ryukyu plaster.
Held a first solo exhibition, “Masks of the Sea,” in 2012.
Currently continues to sell decorative objects at shops both within and outside Okinawa Prefecture, while participating in solo and group exhibitions.

Born in Saga Prefecture in 1981.
Currently based in Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture, where she continues her artistic practice.
She creates animal sculptures, original furniture, and cutlery.

I create wood carvings while working at a bakery.
I carve palm-sized animals, especially cats, which I particularly love and frequently choose as my subjects.

Naoto Wada
A sculptural artist born in Fukuoka.
In 2013, he joined the Picture Book Academy Kego Juku and began creating picture books.
The following year, he received the Excellence Award at the Bungeisha Picture Book Awards.
In 2017, he began teaching himself clay art, creating three-dimensional works that evoke the world of picture books.
His artistic practice mainly explores the theme of “nostalgic comfort,”
and he presents his works through solo exhibitions, events, and online shops.

Chen Kuei Yen (陳奎延）
Thank you very much for taking the time to view my work. My name is Chen Kuei Yen, and I am an artist from Taiwan.
In this solo exhibition, I present two directions of my artistic practice, inviting you on a journey through the emotions and memories that lie deep within our hearts.
First are paintings exploring the theme of “Mythology” from my long-running “Forest Series.” In everyday life, people’s stories become songs, eventually transforming into romantic myths and folktales. Born from reality yet transcending it, these stories delicately portray people’s strong desire to break free from the constraints of the present world and seek freedom of the spirit.
The second direction is a new series of three-dimensional sculptural works that I am presenting in 2026. Through these works, I have attempted to quietly confront and re-experience my memories from childhood through adolescence. The longing to spread one’s wings and soar into the vast sky, and a wild, free-spirited soul. It is like a beautiful dream woven from reality and fantasy.
Within this world where painting and sculpture intersect, I hope you will discover a small resonance that touches your heart.
